What we collect, why, and our lawful basis
| When | What we collect | Why | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| You use our contact form, email, phone or WhatsApp | Name, contact details, organisation (if given), your message | To reply and, if you ask, to prepare a quotation or proposal | Your consent, and steps you ask us to take before a contract |
| You become a client or buy a course or product | Name, contact and billing details, what you bought, payment reference | To deliver the service, issue invoices and keep accounts | Performance of a contract, and our legal obligations on tax and company records |
| You pay through a payment link | Name, email, amount and transaction reference from our payment provider. We never receive your full card details | To confirm and record your payment | Performance of a contract and legal obligation |
| You visit the website | Technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, processed by our host | To deliver the site and protect it from attacks and abuse | Our legitimate interest in running a secure website |
Our legitimate interest in website security does not override your rights. The data is used only for that purpose and is kept for short periods.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies and, according to Cloudflare, does not collect visitors’ personal data. We do not sell personal data. We do not use advertising trackers, social media pixels or automated decision-making, including profiling, that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Do you have to give us your data?
No law requires you to give us personal data. If you do not give us a way to contact you, we cannot reply to your enquiry. If you do not give us billing details, we cannot complete a sale.
Who we share data with
We use a small number of service providers who process data for us under contract:
- Cloudflare, Inc., for website hosting, security and analytics.
- Resend, to deliver contact form messages to our inbox.
- Zoho Corporation, for our business email.
- Paystack Payments Limited (and Selar, for some digital courses), to process payments.
If you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp handles that conversation under its own terms. We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights.
International transfers
Some of these providers store or process data outside Nigeria, for example in the United States or the European Union. Where that happens, we rely on the providers’ contractual data protection terms, such as standard contractual clauses, as permitted by sections 41 to 43 of the NDPA and, where relevant, Articles 46 and 49 of the GDPR. You can ask us for more detail about these safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Client, invoice and transaction records: for as long as Nigerian tax and company law requires, then deleted or anonymised.
- Website security logs: kept by Cloudflare for short periods set by Cloudflare.
Your rights
Under the NDPA (and the GDPR, where it applies) you can ask us to:
- confirm whether we hold data about you, and give you a copy;
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your data, or restrict how we use it;
- give you your data in a common electronic format, or send it to another organisation where this applies.
You have the right to object at any time to our use of your data based on legitimate interests, and to any direct marketing.
Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, as easily as you gave it, by emailing us. Withdrawal does not affect what we did before.
We will respond within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (No. 12 Clement Isong Street, Asokoro, Abuja; info@ndpc.gov.ng; ndpc.gov.ng). If you are in the EU or UK, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Security and breaches
We protect data with encrypted connections, access controls, two-factor authentication on our accounts and reputable providers. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach is likely to put your rights at risk, we will notify the Commission within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, and tell you directly where the risk to you is high, as the NDPA requires.
Children
Our services are for organisations and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their data, contact us and we will delete it.

Our pages link to other websites, such as payment pages, WhatsApp, social media and recommended products. Their own privacy notices apply there.
